I stopped couples therapy because I was keeping close track of the problems.
It started an unhealthy process of keeping score and focusing only on whether or not it was getting worse or better and
if he was meeting my needs and I was meeting his.
Coaching is what actually shifted our relationship.
I went first.
I took charge of what I was in control of and began to be more committed.
